Materials:
- 1 skein of embroidery floss
- 1 spool of hot glue
- Scissors
- Embroidery needle
- Beads (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the floss:
- Cut a length of floss that is about 30 inches long.
- Tie a knot at the end of the floss.
2. Create the dragon body:
- Cut a piece of fabric that is about 12 inches long and 4 inches wide.
- Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and pin the edges together.
- Cut out the dragon body shape.
3. Attach the body to the skein:
- Thread the floss through the loop created by folding the fabric.
- Tie a knot on the end of the floss.
- Pull the knot tight to secure the body to the skein.
4. Add the wings:
- Cut two pieces of fabric that are about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide.
- Fold the edges of the fabric inwards and pin them together.
- Cut out the wings.
5. Attach the wings to the body:
- Thread the floss through the loop created by folding the wings.
- Tie a knot on the end of the floss.
- Pull the knot tight to secure the wings to the body.
6. Add the beads (optional):
- Tie beads to the floss near the end of the body.
- Wrap the floss around the beads and tie a knot.
7. Attach the handle:
- Cut a piece of fabric that is about 30 inches long.
- Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and pin the edges together.
- Cut out the handle shape.
8. Attach the handle to the body:
- Thread the floss through the loop created by folding the handle.
- Tie a knot on the end of the floss.
- Pull the knot tight to secure the handle to the body.
9. Secure the knot:
- Tie a knot at the end of the floss to secure the entire design.
